Can ZUZA turn on Do Not Disturb?
Android
Three things are true together: 1. It is your choice. The option is off until you turn it on in the ZUZA app settings. 2. Android asks you first. You grant ZUZA the permission to change Do Not Disturb. 3. It undoes itself. When you pick the phone up, ZUZA returns it to the state it was in before, on its own.
Do Not Disturb is Android's own feature. Google's help page explains how it and other Modes let you manage when and how you are notified.
iPhone
Apple does not let apps turn on Focus, Do Not Disturb or silent mode. ZUZA does not try. What you can do is build it once yourself with Shortcuts, Apple's automation app. Apple's guide explains how to add an automation trigger to a shortcut, and lists triggers that can run without asking, such as NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Charger. The ZUZA app shows the steps.
What ZUZA never does
- It never locks the phone.
- It never stops you from opening an app.
- On iPhone it changes nothing by itself.
